Dawlish Carnival is one of the largest events in South Devon, with an airshow provided by Dawlish Airshow Ltd on Thursday 18th August.

▪ Airshows are the 2nd biggest spectator sport after Football.

▪ The audience is made up of families, residents of the town and Devon, tourists from the UK and abroad, airshow enthusiasts, young people and senior citizens of all backgrounds.

▪ Join the growing number of non local sponsors to reap the benefits of this largely untapped marketing goldmine.

▪ Dawlish Carnival is non-profit making. Sponsorship helps to cover the costs of our events which are laid on free for anyone to watch.

Promoting your products, brand or services can include a lot more than simple sponsorship. Product sampling, service information stands and face to face marketing are but a few ideas. Your captive audience will be situated mostly away from commercial distractions and many will be families visiting thecarnival while spending a day on the lawn area. There will be breaks between the display acts giving you time to get your message across to around 5,000 people.

We promote originality throughout the carnival and take the same approach with our sponsorship and so we are open to any suggestions. We will do our utmost to help you promote your product while you help us in return by donating money to us for the privilege

▪ Event Sponsorship. An alternative or addition to advertising is event sponsorship. By sponsoring an event it is named after your event such as “F B Holdings Raft Race”. The sponsorship amount for events varies and details can be found on our website, as well as being listed in the event programme, and programme released to the press you are given a free banner (size depending on amount sponsored).

▪ Location Sponsorship. For £1000 you can have either the Main Arena, Bandstand or Marquee named after you. Your company logo will appear on all site maps, on the website and on location name signs.

The event is a big part of the community in South Devon encouraging the involvement of children, young people, families and senior citizens through promoting the arts, sport and community service. The committee also provides grants and lends equipment to local charities at various points during the year. Past charities to have benefited from equipment use or donations includes Children with Diabetes, Special Peoples Fund, St John’s Ambulance, Dawlish Youth Football Club, the RNLI and local youth arts and sports groups, Dawlish Rotary Club, Dawlish Hospital, Christians Together and Dawlish Air Cadets.

Helping in the community can come in many forms, from donating money and time, to increasing the trade in the town.
